Good Things Happen In Dark Places

Every year when the weather changes and the sun is less present I am reminded by the darkness that good things happen in the dark. 

There have been countless reminders of this in my life. 

With my current new baby I am reminded that her life began in my womb, a dark dark place. 

A new baby, starts in the dark. 

Think about the most beautiful trees, flowers, blossoms, all begin in a seed in the dark dark ground. 

Beautiful colors, shapes, awe inspiring natures beauties start in the dark. 

Think about christianity's greatest life event of christs body buried in a tomb, a dark dark place. 

But was risen with life and light. 

And I think about my life, my darkest darkest moments when I fell into deep depression and sadness turned out to be my greatest transformation and evolution. 

I love to be reminded of this because when darkness creeps into my life I know that something good is around the corner. 

Beauty, growth, change and transformation are birthed from dark places. 

So if you are experiencing sadness, grief, despair, depression, and anxiety I kindly, honestly, gently remind you that good things happen in dark places.
